I've been involved in the creation of software for most of my life, and I still build and manage my own computers and network equipment. has a nice listing of the patents issued to me for Machine Learning, Internet browser technology and computer operating system security advancements.

While working towards my Masters degree at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, I developed an interest in analysis of extremely large data sets related to economics and politics. This interest has led directly to my work in machine learning, financial modeling, and social experiments.
